The last I checked, the snow is gone. Now it seems to be a lot of rain. My back yard just can't dry out. The raised garden beds seem fine, but around them is soaked.

The Maritime Gallery in Mystic Seaport, CT is now open for this year's art submissions...near where Mystic Pizza was filmed. I actually lived not far from there, a place called Lord's Point, while I was in the Navy Submarine Service out of New London CT.

I believe I am over thinking what to enter. I have tried many times in the past to get in and it didn't happen. Being a Maritime gallery, there is a lot of technical renderings of scenes with ships, I'm not that kind of painter for the most part.

I would like to enter this painting...but it might not be what they are looking for. We will see.
