Arti, Dominique-- Thank you. The background is made of strokes of Manganese Blue and Opera (Holbein brand), Dried and scrubbed with a wet bristle brush. Then painted more with Prussian Blue and drawing lines using Opera (with the tube of paint, no brush). While still damp, the palette knife was used to scape across the paint. And a small amount of Lamp Black mixed with the other colors for some dark accents.

I like your background cloth - nice work with the shadows on that.
Very nice watercolor interpretation of Karin's reference photo...love the added tablecloth and your bright colors!

Thanks. I started to animate the background for some contrast and it turned into a cross pattern--almost missed this challenge.

I like all of the movement that you have captured in the shadows.
the tablecloth is a nice addition! lovely work!
