So pretty!! I love watercolors so very much. I never have been able to get such effects. I think I am too tightfisted with the water and with the brush. Gorgeous, Bill!
Thanks, I started this painting and the last by drawing with the tubes of paint right on the paper. Then I started painting into these marks with wet paint or just water. You get some places with full intense color. At 2:00am the brain doesn't worry too much. :)
Thanks so much! I think 3:00am is the quietest time of the day—-most have gone to bed and the others haven't got up yet. If you go outside you can really hear it. There is a stillness in the air...the quiet before the dawn. I have been out driving at that hour and it is very different. Something like the silence of fear. Must be getting late, I have the urge to paint.

Very nice and loose and the colors are luscious. Painting at 2:00 a.m. is a good thing.
Thanks,

2 AM creations are the best! The creative juices can flow unhindered by the din and distractions of the day....
your paintings make the viewer wish for a portal to jump through into the peaceful world therein...
thanks again for sharing : )
Thanks so much!
