Bill, this is absolutely gorgeous! I think this is a new frontrunner in my Bill Gavin favorite works. I am amazed at the dried branches you've captured growing on the bricks, the movement of the water, the water stained brickwork under the bridge. Just beautiful!

This is really nice, Bill -- the branches, the water, the reflected light -- the use of those desaturated "mouse colors" (Jeanne Dobie) to give center stage to the pure colors in your focal area -- the textures in the stones -- the way you are blinded by the bright light on the back side -- the way you use bits of pure color to move the eye around the painting... All VERY nice. /j
