Exploring

Exploring a possible new painting of Lovells Island, Boston Harbor. This is a nice place if your enjoy walking the beach. The building was used to store oil for the navigational lights... it's slowly vanishing.

We have similar buildings out here in farm country. Love how you captured some of the building's skeleton. Quite a lovely painting!

AutumnLeaves--

Thanks for your continuing interest. I have to get down to Rhode Island and find something that sparks my interest (maybe something with the ocean). A juried art show is coming up fast and I don't have a clue what to paint. It has to be a Rhode Island theme. Come back again and see what I did.

Remember to think of values when painting...color is secondary.

Thanks, Bill, for the tip. I will indeed check back to see what you've come up with for the art show. I look forward to it!

Like this old building. We have so many weathered ones in Colorado. I try to always capture the light.
