I just gasped in pleasure when I saw this piece! The colors are beautiful! The peace that comes through the composition, the fly fishermen...sigh...Oh to be on hammock in this location!

I haven't painted on location in a long time and I really enjoyed this Saturday morning. Painting outside is a little intimating. But, being with other artists helps a lot. Everything seems so condensed. Finding a good spot, doing a value sketch and then finally painting and dealing with the ever changing light...lots of fun and peace.

yeah, this a very serene one. I've never been fly fishing but it looks pretty relaxing. I like the reflections in the water, good attention to detail!
