Sun, mountains, sand, mountain greens...Arizona indeed! I like the primary colors too, Bill. I am enjoying (not being kind, honest!) your play with the broad and loose strokes of the brush. Once or twice I've found myself wondering too if you are using fingers? These are working for me (and you may just be the one that makes me like abstract art a bit more)!
No fingers. Parts of most of my current paintings are scraped and pushed with a palette knife or something else. This one, only 2 places in the foreground. The rest of it is pushed with a wet brush after drawing with the tubes of paint.
I love your paintings. I like the fluidity you get with your medium and love your colors. I love to paint abstractly also. Love your techniques. Silvia
